Ken Macias has worked in public accounting for over 38 years and has earned national recognition along the way. His ownership began in 1987 when he founded a top 80 and one of the fasted growing CPA firms in the nation – Macias Gini & O’Connell LLP. In 1992, Ken decided to continue his entrepreneurial spirit and established Macias Consulting Group, Inc. (MCG). MCG predominantly provides consulting services to government and nonprofit organizations. MCG is a separately owned related consulting, CPA firm to LSL.
Ken has been appointed to several national and state accounting related positions — including the AICPA Board, the AICPA Government Expert Panel and the prestigious AICPA Auditing Standards Board. He was also appointed to the AICPA Diversity and Inclusion Commission. Ken has been recognized as one of the Top 100 CPAs in America by being appointed to the prominent “AICPA Group of 100.” Additionally, he was featured in California CPA Magazine (June 2002) “Because Trust Matters” and the Journal of Accountancy (December 1995) “Grant Specific Audits.”
As a Partner at LSL CPAs, Ken brings his extensive knowledge of consulting and financial auditing services to government, corporate and nonprofit organizations.
