Pam Bustos, CPA
Partner
Pam brings with her over 28 years of taxation and consulting experience, specializing in tax compliance and strategic planning for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. She’s well-versed in navigating the complexities of partnerships, LLCs, S corporations, and C corporations. Her clients often operate across multiple states, and she works closely with them to manage everything from income allocation and apportionment rules to estimated tax strategies and safe harbor thresholds. Whether it’s selecting the most advantageous entity structure, planning for business transitions, or evaluating the tax impact of a major investment, Pam brings both technical knowledge and real-world insight to the table.
Her work doesn’t stop at compliance. Pam is known for her forward-looking approach to tax planning—anticipating changes in tax law, analyzing the impact of new business ventures, and helping clients minimize liabilities while maximizing long-term financial outcomes. She also has significant experience handling IRS and state audits, guiding clients through every step of the process and helping them respond with clarity and confidence.
For Pam, accounting really is in her DNA. Her father was a CPA with a solo practice, and while following in his footsteps came naturally, Pam quickly carved her own path. What began as a shared family profession evolved into a decades-long career marked by deep technical expertise, strategic insight, and an unwavering commitment to her clients. Pam enjoys being more than a service provider; she’s a true partner who clients can turn to when they need a sounding board, a strategist, or just someone to help them make sense of the numbers.
Off the clock… Pam enjoys life with her husband and two (now grown) children, keeps up with current events, and always has a book on her nightstand. She’s also known around the office for her eclectic playlists—expect anything from jazz to pop to play in the background while she tackles tax code.
