Justin Jensen is a Partner in LSL’s Tax & Advisory department, and he brings a dynamic blend of technical expertise and entrepreneurial insight to every client engagement. For Justin, tax strategy is more than planning—it’s a gateway to opportunity. Whether he’s guiding a real estate investor through a complex 1031 Exchange or helping a construction company maximize tax credits, Justin thrives on crafting solutions that drive long-term success.

His career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where he spent four years serving privately held companies—many in the real estate development and investment space. That experience led him to the role as Tax Director for a large real estate company with over $2 billion in assets. While there, Justin was involved in residential and commercial rental property, real estate development, hospitality businesses (hotels and restaurants), and venture companies across various industries. This broad exposure sparked an entrepreneurial spirit that continues to fuel his passion for real estate investing today.

Justin has extensive experience working with clients in the real estate and construction industries, helping them navigate complex tax regulations and uncover strategic opportunities. He joined Morrison, Clark & Company in 2017, where he led the firm’s specialties in Cost Segregation, R&D Credits, Opportunity Zones, and 1031 Exchanges. In December 2025, he became a Partner at LSL where he continues to lead with a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of the industries he serves.

Clients appreciate Justin’s ability to translate complex tax regulations into clear, actionable strategies. He’s known for his calm demeanor, collaborative mindset, and commitment to helping clients move forward with confidence.

Off the clock…
