Lacy Willis is a Director in LSL’s Consulting & Advisory department, where she helps privately held businesses strengthen their operations through management advisory, accounting, and forensic services. With nearly two decades of experience across public accounting, academia, and business consulting, Lacy brings a unique blend of technical expertise, investigative insight, and a passion for empowering business owners with actionable financial tools.

Throughout her career, Lacy has worked with clients across a wide range of industries—including manufacturing, distribution, financial services, and professional services—helping them navigate everything from audits and financial reporting to management consulting, forensic accounting, and valuation projects.

After her time in public accounting, Lacy joined Chapman University as an Assistant Professor of Accounting and later served as Director of the Master of Science in Accounting program. Under her leadership, Chapman’s graduate CPA exam pass rates ranked third in California for first-time candidates. In 2020, she co-founded Willis Consulting & Accounting, Inc., where she continued to advise privately held companies on bookkeeping, business consulting, forensic accounting, and valuation matters.

In addition to being a licensed CPA, Lacy earned her Juris Doctor from Chapman University Fowler School of Law and is a licensed attorney in the State of California. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Her favorite part of the profession is helping clients solve complex business challenges—whether through improving efficiency, uncovering financial irregularities, or guiding strategic decision-making.

Outside of work, Lacy enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, attending their many sports and music activities, and traveling as a family. A true Californian at heart, she loves snowboarding, scuba diving, and days at the beach.
