Senior Manager

Allen James “Jayme” Lambert is a Senior Manager in LSL’s Governmental Assurance & Advisory department, where he oversees audits for municipalities, water districts, special districts, and not-for-profit organizations, as well as provides consulting services to help clients strengthen operations and reporting processes. Known for delivering work that inspires confidence, Jayme strives to exceed client expectations whenever possible.

With extensive experience leading audit engagements for local government agencies, including cities, counties, and utility districts. He oversees all stages of the audit cycle—from planning and risk assessment to fieldwork and final reporting—ensuring every project meets high standards for compliance and accuracy. Jayme brings a steady, solutions-oriented approach to every project, ensuring clients receive both technical accuracy and peace of mind in their audits and consulting engagements.

Accounting runs in Jayme’s family—his grandfather, Allen James Lambert, was a CPA for 50 years and founded a firm that still bears his name. Inspired by his grandfather’s dedication and enjoyment of the profession, Jayme earned his B.S. in Accounting in 2013, became a CPA in 2016, and built his career in public accounting. Before joining LSL in 2022, he advanced from Senior Accountant to Manager at a CPA firm in Alabama, gaining extensive experience in governmental and not-for-profit engagements.

Outside of work, Jayme enjoys spending time with his three daughters, often at theme parks and water parks. Their go-to destination for big trips is Disney World, while closer to home they frequent Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure. A music enthusiast, Jayme also plays guitar and sings, and he’s a loyal fan of Alabama sports—especially the Crimson Tide.

B.B.A. (Bachelor of Business Administration) in Entertainment Industry Management from the University of North Alabama (UNA)

B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB)
