GASB 96: guidance on the accounting and financial reporting for subscription-based information technology arrangements (SBITAs) for government end users:
- Consider early implementation with GASB 87 lease reporting (implement along with GASB 87 – find a solution to do BOTH!)
- Avoid restatements pitfalls for leases that will fall under GASB 96: get it done in one swoop

The Client Training that is mentioned in our contracts is specific to one-on-one training. Because the GAAT Update is an external function that we are offering to the public, it is not considered training under our current client contract.
