Lance, Soll & Lunghard, LLP seeks an Accountant in Magnolia, Texas. Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules including determining the most efficient and effective testing procedures including disclosure notes. Provide financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget. Lead builder for customization projects. Responsible for the design, implementation and configuration of accounting software. Creating program procedures including determining the most efficient and effective testing procedures. Designing worksheets such as capital assets and loans amortization schedules. Implementing processes for risk assessment and evaluation of internal controls. Integrating with other CaseWare applications such as analytics within a solution where relevant. Design worksheets and forms to create efficiencies in solutions by adding logic to drive automation. Maintaining content within a solution to ensure compliance with the relevant standards. Using CaseWare, SDK, Excel & Visual Basic, develop new functionality in response to unique client needs. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Three (3) years of accounting experience in accounting. Three (3) years CPA firm experience including working with CaseWare. Three (3) years auditing experience. Experience must also include SDK and Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Work, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
