LSL CPAs recently hosted a table at the Santa Ana’s State of the City on June 29th.
The annual breakfast was held at the Bowers Museum and included 300 business leaders and local government officials.
During the annual breakfast, Mayor Miguel Pulido, updated us on what is new with Santa Ana.
Some of the highlights include:
Development projects –
- The Heritage, the city’s largest mixed use development
- AMCAL First Street Apartments, offering below market rate apartments
- Nineteen01, Luxury Apartment community located at First and Cabrillo Park Drive
- One Broadway Plaza, high rise office building
Revitalization of downtown and public safety –
- Continued revitalization of the downtown area that now includes over 70 restaurants
- Increase in the number of police officers being hired to improve public safety
- Business licenses are at an all-time high
Real Estate and education –
- Real Estate values up 4.2 percent
- Nicholas Academic Centers is expanding to Century High School
- Mater Dei High School is building a new performing arts center
