Mike Mangold, CPA

Listening to the tales of business owners who dined at his father’s restaurant inspired Mike to return to school for accounting. Instead of delivering orders while they’re hot, he has spent more than 25 years serving cool CPA knowledge.

Mike was a partner at Vilmure, Peeler & Boucher when the firm merged with LSL CPAs in 2013. He has continued to translate complex business issues into action steps for clients. He prefers to develop an advisory relationship that focuses on the long-term vision and management of small businesses.

He specializes in attest and audit services for privately held businesses across a variety of industries. Mike is also a member of our Automotive Accounting Team. His clients range from manufacturers and auto dealerships to service firms, wholesalers and distributors. Mike also oversees audits of 401(k) benefit plans and is a peer reviewer for the AICPA Peer Review Program administered by the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Giving back to his industry and community has been integral to Mike’s success, including more than two decades of membership and service in Rotary International.
